We’re very excited for you to explore and create with this newest Kajabi tool. We’ll be rolling out new features throughout the Beta period, and will let you know as each new capability goes live. We welcome your feedback, questions, and ideas. Let’s create together!

Get Started with Creator Studio

Creator Studio is an excellent way to quickly and easily create video clips from your existing course content. Spend minutes, not hours, creating polished course previews, marketing-ready video clips, and engaging social media content.

To get started, you will find Creator Studio in the Kajabi left navigation. You can:

• Create a project and pick a course video to start transcribing and analyzing for content.
• Click on a project that has finished transcription to open Creator Studio to work on your Script.
• Click on a sentence to include it in your highlight video. Or, use suggested highlights as a starting point, and add or remove sentences from the suggested highlights.
• When you’re ready, click Generate clip and Creator Studio will start building your video clip for you to use in your marketing, mini-courses and more.
• Safely work on other things while your clip is generating, including making your next video clip in the same project.
• When your video finishes processing, click ... to download a transcript or subtitles of your highlight video clip.
• Click 🎨 to customize your clip. Adjust the layout for different social media sites, add text, upload a logo, and more.
• Download your clips, or share your clips to Facebook and Instagram using the built-in integration.

Feedback we addressed

Features we shipped:

• Preview your highlights inside Creator Studio without waiting for your clip to finish processing
• Customize your video clip. This includes cropping, changing layout, adding text, shapes, stickers, and more!
• Download the transcript of your highlight video
• Download the subtitles (.srt and .vtt) of your highlight video
• Provide feedback for AI highlights
• Rename projects and clips

Additional improvements: 

• Faster video transcription
• Faster video processing
• Clearer entrypoint  in Kajabi's left navigation 
• Delete failed projects and clips
• Instructions to configure your Facebook group for syndication 

Known Issues and Limitations

We have a lot more features headed your way as we explore this Beta together.

Here are some of the features coming soon:

• Add subtitles to your video
• Download the transcript of your original video
• Download the subtitles (.srt and .vtt) of your original video
• Upload any video directly to Creator Studio 
• Email notifications when your video finishes transcribing or processing

In this Beta test, here are some of the current limitations of Creator Studio...

• A project can only be created using course videos.
• A project can only be created for videos between 1 minute and 4 hours long
• English-only videos are officially supported. Other languages are unofficially supported, but we are still working towards full support.

… and finally, the list below is our official bug kill list. We’ll post the bugs we’ve destroyed thanks to the feedback and reports y’all have provided to help us troubleshoot.

• Video clips being generated don’t match the highlights that made them.
• Facebook and Instagram share isn't working.
• Projects may recommend Auto-Highlights longer than the course video. We will remove these options.
• Projects that fail transcription do not show an error, and when opened in Creator Studio have an empty transcript display. We will properly display when there’s an error.
